FAQ

1) What makes Wolfpack Wrestling Camps different?

Coach Popolizio is dedicated to promoting excellence
in character and performance on the mat, while stressing the importance of learning life-skills off the mat.
The clinicians were chosen for this camp specifically
for two reasons: character, and their innate ability to successfully teach all levels of wrestling.

Weight training, nutrition,
learning how to peak, goal-setting, conditioning, mental toughness, situational wrestling, and character will all be addressed during this camp. We believe that every link in a chain
is important, so every individual is viewed as a valuable member of our camp. Come and find out for yourself!

2) What is the difference between Team and Intensive Camps?

The Team Camp gives you the best parts of a technique camp, while providing ample opportunity to use your newly learned world-class technique in numerous competitive matches every day. The team competition camp is designed for dual meets between teams of twelve. Technique sessions will teach you how to drill and execute high level techniques while competitive sessions will help your team learn to be physically and mentally prepared for competition. Camp staff will evaluate your team every session to help make your teams’ weakness its strength.

The Intensive Camp is for the most serious wrestlers. This camp will provide high school and junior high students with a glimpse into the intensive training it takes to win at the highest level. It will encompass all aspects of training including technique, conditioning, strength, mental preparation and focus, live wrestling, and match preparation. Competitors will be pushed beyond their comfort zone in order to reach new heights in wrestling. This camp will give you the mental edge to dominate your opponents in competition.
